Delphine Gibassier is a Researcher, Practitioner and Advocate for Accounting for Sustainable Development with 16 years’ experience in non-financial accounting and reporting. She has worked with the IIRC, WBCSD, Reporting 3.0 and CDSB, as well as the French government on carbon accounting and integrated reporting. In practice, she has developed carbon accounting, SDG accounting and integrated reporting for large companies. Before joining academia, she worked as a management controller at GE Healthcare, Danone and Syngenta, in Paris, USA and Asia. She speaks four languages and has lived in China, Japan, USA, UK, Canada and Germany. She is passionate about linking research to teaching and practice, with a goal to impact on society. Delphine Gibassier interacts with accounting organizations and firms to help develop a shared interest into accounting for sustainable development. Her work includes public and business engagement and dissemination of her research and practice through reports, articles, online and social media.
