With more than 25 years’ experience in water resource management at Nestlé, Carlo has been a catalyst for the Company’s commitment to water stewardship. As part of that Carlo will oversee the certification of all Nestlé Waters factories to AWS standard by 2025
Carlo joined Nestlé Waters in Italy in 1991 and managed natural mineral water concessions of key brands such as Levissima, Panna and S.Pellegrino. In 2005, he was appointed as the Global Head of Water Resources at the Nestlé Waters Headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland.
Carlo joined Corporate Operations at Nestlé Group in 2008 and, in his new capacity of Technical Director of Water Resources,successfully redefined the water stewardship strategy for all our Manufacturing facilities and agricultural supply chain.
He is an active Board member of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and played a key role in the creation of the new AWS International Water Stewardship Standard.
